Glen Hill serves as the Head of Fundraising for St John, one of New Zealand’s largest and most trusted charities. With a database of over 100,000 active donors and more than 145,000 members, with such a significant database St John’s growth strategy centres on stewarding donors into more valuable fulfilment.
Success of this strategy can be evidenced by St John’s most recent Annual Appeal where income grew from $2.2m to $2.8m. Although this involved mass communications with unprecedented reach among the New Zealand public, income growth was achieved by increasing the value of peoples giving through better leverage of the St John brand and footprint.
Glen has more than 15 years’ experience working for charities of different scales and across a broad spectrum of fundraising, and is passionate about the donor and moving them from ‘faces’ to ‘family’.
